VHM to the Pac-Man opening.  If Dave actually plays "Pac-Man Fever" I'll be delighted.

I think we'll get some sort of novelty today -- either that, or "Shaddap You Face," or "Stars on 45."

Does this count as a novelty hit? Or just bad geography?

Just... BAD.

BOS Ms Armatrading, gettin' lucky (as are we).

Armatrading in his Chevy for a Cadliack-ack-ack-ack

(sorry, don't know why I posted that)

and they're heading for Sausalito, unfortunately. WOS Deisel. I'm gonna blow a gasket myself.
I still like that tune, and I'll thank you to leave your private life out of your posts.

I'm so sorry.  (But I do love my EWF.)

BOS2 The Jam, dreaming of Monday. (And pinch hitting for my Pretenders and Wayback's Clash picks.)

ETA: Speaking of whom, Rick Buckler and Bruce Foxton just played Slim's the other night, under the name From the Jam.

VVHM Jr Walker's sax on "Urgent" -- in '81, any Clash other than "Mag 7" would be a super duper bustout.

But here's acceptable New Wavishness: Geldof & Co. BOS3.

BOS3, Boomtown Rats. This has popped up three times previously, every time in the #10 slot.

"they were such a power at that time" sez Dave of The Jam. But tho' he's played them 16 times (including today) it's almost always been "Monday".

Dave was referring to Foreigner.
