OK, that was needlessly hyperbolic on my part; and Mark, thanks for posting the lyrics, they really are better than I remember whenever ... I see ... that damned, damned Chevy ad.

OK, that was needlessly hyperbolic on my part; and Mark, thanks for posting the lyrics, they really are better than I remember whenever ... I see ... that damned, damned Chevy ad.

And that's the cross JCM will have to bear--one of his best songs in recent memory being associated forever in the minds of his fans with a truck. I'm not saying he's right or wrong in selling it to Chevy, but this is the fallout he has to live with.

I've read enuf interviews with him on the subject to sorta sympathize/see where he's coming from, in terms of aging rockers getting exposure. (or over-exposure, as it turned out to be in this case)
