WOS: "Bad to the Bone."  Even if I liked the song, its overuse in trailers for movies showing precocious kids misbehaving would be enough to make me hurl chunks onto the vinyl.

Does "precocious kids misbehaving" include our governator?

Kind of an unimaginative set, I'll give BOS to America's "You Can Do Magic."  Very much of its time.

No... it's not. And yes I know "Bad to the Bone" was in T2.  But "precocious kids misbehaving" = Kindergarten Cop.

You say that as if his films aren't essentially interchangeable.  (Yes, that means I'm suggesting Linda Hamilton and Danny DeVito are interchangeable, but humor me.)

I mean, really, though: when you hear those opening chords, don't you expect to look up and see a Macauley Culkin-esque urchin mugging for the camera?

At least Eddy Grant is a good rehash.  I still like "Romancing the Stone" better, though.

And "You Got Lucky" is probably my favorite Petty tune.

Yes. It's actually not a bad movie, Pamela Reed as his partner steals the show. I remember seeing it in early '91, I was quite depressed about the Gulf War and needed to see something mindless & stupid and found it to be much better than I expected. And compared to its many recent clones (Pacifier, Are We There Yet?) it's practically Shakespeare.

VHM Seger, "Shame on the Moon". Isn't this a Rodney Crowell tune?

Wow, I haven't heard "Shame on the Moon" in so long I didn't even recognize it!

You'd think Bob and Dave would play more Paul Davis.  I don't think I've ever heard him in either 10-spot!  "'65 Love Affair" is a great lost classic.
