Probably won't be as New Wave-y as Dave's '82 set last week, but I'm betting Tommy Tutone may reappear.

OMG! The Drive is playing Stevie & Don, "Leather & Lace"!!

I'm gonna wager on some Donnie Iris, some Tubes, some Stray Cats (or were they '83?), and some solo Michael McDonald.

Ah! Leah! was '81, Stray Cats straddle '82-'83.  Which Tubes are you expecting?

Kind of an unimaginative set, I'll give BOS to America's "You Can Do Magic."  Very much of its time.

You know darn well...
...that I'd like to hear some of the following:

"We Got the Beat" - Go-Go's
"Steppin' Out" - Joe Jackson
"Southern Cross' - Crosby, Stills & Nash
"New World Man" - Rush
"Abacab" - Genesis
"Genius of Love" - Tom Tom Club

Donnie Iris: what about "Love Is Like a Rock" (which I hate)?

Tubes: oh, I dunno.  Was this the year for "Beauty"?

A VHM from me at very least, since you never hear this one. Dave's never played it to my knowledge -- I don't think KOIT even has this in rotation!

WOS: "Bad to the Bone."  Even if I liked the song, its overuse in trailers for movies showing precocious kids misbehaving would be enough to make me hurl chunks onto the vinyl.

And Zantz CAN'T dance. But he'll steal your money.

Actually Bob has played his share of '70s disco, including some Dave's never done, like "5th of Beethoven".

Yeah, that is certainly the least likely on my list, but wouldn't it sound great after "Bad To The Bone"?

Does "precocious kids misbehaving" include our governator?
