here's my latest blog entry, very short:

http://ggould.blogspot.com/2008/05/waiting-for-other-shoe.html

Short, but great and to the point.  Thank you, Geoff!

Agreed.  Changing my quote when I'm done posting this.
I was pretty flattered and quite touched by this, and began to wonder how original or obvious this phrase was.  I have been thinking about writing a song, so I just Googled "Don't Stand in the way of Love" and found some song by Jennifer Love Hewitt called Can't Stand In The Way Of Love.  I don't really know who she is, but I'm pretty clueless about pop culture these days.  Have you guys heard this song before?

She's an actress, not a singer (primarily), known more for her cleavage than anything else.

What Mike said.  She did try to embark on a sidebar singing career but it flopped terribly.  Even calling the lead single "Naked" couldn't get her onto the charts.
“The choir of children sing their song.  They've practiced all year long.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.”

I had some adults, but they must have died at the same time as the fry hatched!  But yes, someone else suggested spontaneous generation too!

This is a movie you might not know was playing.  If anyone has seen it, I'd sure like to hear about it.

I've been reading about this and am similarly intrigued.

It's also available on "On Demand" if you have digital cable -- I do, and will probably watch it in the next week or 2.

On a slightly related radio note, the guy who brought the doggie heads over posted a comment and link on the blog, and is apparently on the pirate radio station out here on Sunday nights:

Re: top 5 albums

My latest blog is the silly quest to name the 5 albums you'd want to be stranded on a desert island with, presuming one could also have a CD or turntable working on said desert isle.  I believe most of you have pondered this question at one time or another.  So I hope you will leave your list in the comments!

And oh, by the way, Martha and I visited the Doggie Diner heads again!:
