I wouldn't necessarily say RIP. He became anti-semitic in his later years to a point where he went on a rant to ESPN's Jeremy Schaap's late father even though (a) his mother was Jewish and (b) Dick Schaap helped him out when Fischer was young. He also praised the 9/11 terrorists attacks.
