They're still being maddeningly inconsistent. They just played P.S. I Love You after Prove It All Night and before Psycho Killer, rather than at the beginning of the P's.

But they and BCO are almost exactly in sync again. BCO just played Presence of the Lord and now are playing Pressure Drop.

I'd love to know how many songs, total, each station will have played when A-to-Z is over -- I'm intrigued by the fact that they are nearly in synch, even tho' 'BCO suspends 10@10 and KFOG does not. Somebody's total will be significantly bigger, no?

When is BCO suspending their A-Z? I haven't been listening that closely to theirs, so I'm not sure. KFOG's isn't continuing during the overnight--I think it knocks off when the evening 10@10 replay starts, and picks up again about 6am. And it did continue thru the weekend--I assumed the BCO one did as well, since they're still in lockstep.
Let's get right to it.

Right before that they played "Pride and Joy" in front of "Pride (In the Name of Love)".

No idea when KBCO suspends theirs, but you're right that KFOG suspends there's from 10p to 6a.  I rather doubt that KBCO has a much programming on the weekends to suspend A-Z for, so they probably wind up playing a few hours worth of extra songs.

Mark, hope you're still tuned in to KFOG. They jumped to the Q's after today's set, so we're hearing the Moodie's sublime Question right now (my fave song of theirs, if I had to pick).

I imagine they'll be jumping to R shortly, and will spend the rest of the day (and then some, perhaps) getting thru that.

Wow, Steve Miller Band's Quicksilver Girl. This may be the first time KFOG's EVER played this.

This is odd: KFOG didn't play (according to the "just played" list) Knopfler's "Punish the Monkey", despite its being in current rotay.  'BCO did play it, however.

Yeah I enjoyed hearing both of those, and I think Quicksilver girl made it in at least one prior A-Z.

Was really hoping for Rip This Joint, and instead Annalisa went straight from Rikki Don't Lose That Number to Ripple. Both great, but sheesh.

I would have rather gotten:
"Rings" (Cymarron)
"Rip and Destroy" (Evil KISS)
"Rip Her to Shreds" (Blondie)
“The choir of children sing their song.  They've practiced all year long.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.”

but she did play "Rat In Mi Kitchen" earlier, so I still love her.

A to Z plods on. They're finishing up the S's (just heard Sunny Afternoon and Sunny Came Home, so they must be getting close), but I'm starting to wonder if, with all the weekend programming disruptions, they'll be done before Monday.

Lots of T's and W's, and a decent amount of Y's; X's and Z's notsomuch.  (Will we get "X Offender" or "Xanadu" this year?)  KBCO is into the "Take" songs as we speak.

Damn--they're in the middle of all the "sweet" songs and Big Rick sez there's a classic stones song coming up--so I get all excited thinking we're gonna hear Sweet Virginia. Nope. Forgot all about Sympathy for the Devil (which may well be the last S song). Guess scraping the shit right off your shoes was just a little to much to hope for.

At 5:24pm EST: the sole "X" entry in KBCO's A-Z is Ziggy Marley's "X Marks the Spot," new to me and far inferior to both "X-Offender" and "Xanadu."

A quick check of the "Just played" list shows they played a fair amount of W songs, but kinda wimped out on the V's--exactly four songs: Veronica, Vertigo, Voices Carry, and Voices Inside My Head. Surely they could have come up with more than that.

But if they're in the Y section right now, it seems almost assured they'll be done sometime today--early tomorrow morning at the outside.
