Uber BOS to the Clash!

Joining the chorus here.  This is new to me, I must admit.  Phenomenal.

Ginger's jammin'!  BOS2 to Stevie, one of his least-heard-today big hits.

Not as least-heard as "Send One Your Love" or "That Girl", tho'.

True on both counts.  Is that just because '80s R&B is a neglected format, or do oldies PDs think those songs inferior?

You never listen to KKSF or any of its lite-jazz clones, but "That Girl" is on their short list of crossover tracks.  So I think it really does get played more than "Master Blaster".

I'm glad to hear that.  I know that "I Just Called to Say I LoveYou"  is a KOIT fave (I used to share a cubicle with a KOIT listener -- it was HELL at Xmas time).

and now Genesis when they were... not yet completely worthless.

One of many worthy tracks from that fine 3-LP set. A huge "turntable hit" in NYC at the time. There's more there than "Magnificent 7", that's fer damn sure.

BOS5 Roxy Music, with the rhythm of rhyming guitars.  Proxy of cairo.

"Oh Yeah" is one of those tunes that I somehow missed until more recently, but it's now one of my fave Bryan Ferry compositions.

We know Major Tom's a junkie
Bowie's acting as his flunky.

I watched Man Who Fell to Earth the other nite, first time I'd seen it since the '70s. Still amazing.

Hey, Ginger's not the one who overplayed it. For the folks in Boulder it's probably a blast from the past. Slack granted.
