BOS Etta James, "Damn your Eyes", which I've only ever heard in 'BCO '88 sets.

This is the first time I've ever heard it - stunning!  BOS.  It reminds me of an artist the Princess turned me on to, Jonah Smith.

PS: Add me to the cold-bearing list.  I'm so glad I'm off today.

They were talking on 'LNG about below-zero wind chill for NYC today. is it that bad?

I'm afraid so.  Was walking home at around 1am last night in that bitterness.  I'm just thankful the bitter winds didn't come a day earlier, when I was doing the Polar Bear water jump at Coney Island.

Segue of the week: Sigourney Weaver as Dian Fossey talking about the confusion of her simian subjects as to her species, into Los Lobes' I Wanna Be Like You.
Let's get right to it.

Just as well that I was in the middle of typing an email when I had the same thought, or it would have been a four-way jinx!
