damn fine second half! bowie and todd...

Dave plays a LOT of Todd, but this one notsomuch. VHM.

I don't know that I've ever heard this before.  It rocks!

Yeah you right. It's on Faithful, an album he did with one side of note-by-note covers (Good Vibrations, Rain, If 6 was 9) and another side of originals. Pretty good record.

That screaming I'm now hearing must be Mike in reaction to BJ's Say Goodbye to Hollywood. Yet another bustout?
Let's get right to it.

Yep, I saw it right after I posted that. I misjudged you, I guess. And yes, he has--twice.
Let's get right to it.

Dave has often professed love for Turnstiles, which has 8 songs; Dave's played (afaik) 5 of them (in bold):

1. Say Goodbye to Hollywood
2. Summer, Highland Falls

3. All You Wanna Do Is Dance
4. New York State of Mind
5. James
6. Prelude/Angry Young Man
7. I've Loved These Days

8. Miami 2017 (Seen the Lights Go Out on Broadway)

Bonus: Ramones, "I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend"! (not to be confused with the Rubinoos song of the same name)

Alright now--BOS to Boz and Georgia, a long-forgotten track that used to be a fave from Silk Degrees. And it too is a DB bustout.

Replay BOS from me.  I finally got around to listening to his troika of mid-late-'70s albums over Thanksgiving, and suspect I'll always associate "Georgia" with Prospect Park awash with freshly fallen leaves.
