Can't say I feel so good, but VHM to this Richard Thompson, whose horns certainly seem to.

under the weather health-wise or not in a good mood?

The latter.  Family issues re holidays, roommate issues re money, and I can't find a date to see Sly Stone with me this Friday.

Tell all the young gay guys you know that he's a drag queen -- they won't notice the diff.

WOS Candyskins.

I can feel you, except for me it's money, work & more money.  Family & holidays (my folks are coming out for 10 days) are the only things I'm looking forward to.

Yeah, I'm not really getting the point of this Candy Skins cover.  It's played well, but there's something missing.  (BTW, are those "Ow!"s sampled from "Sympathy for the Devil"?)  Maybe the Happy Mondays could've done more with that.

Johnnie Johnson discovers "Tanqueray" long before Ms Winehouse.

sorry, I've just never liked it (and I see Gaz kind of agrees). Rather unnecessary, given how ubiquitous the orig was and is.

I'm pretty much in synch with you, Mark--loads o' bills (property tax, car insurance etc.) this time of year, and and then come Xmas and my wife's birthday, all in two-week period. And as for work, our already depleted copy desk has one member out on jury duty, and me illin' but working anyway.

And yes, Gaz, I believe the "OW!" was cribbed from "Sympathy...."
Let's get right to it.

Yeah, thanks for reminding me about property tax.  That helped.   ::)  :'(  ;)

late-career JT doesn't get that much love around here, but I really like "Copperline".

By "late-career," do you mean "after 1972"?   ;D

One of his nicer '90s/'00s efforts, tho' that's not saying much.
