This morning I scored an extra pair of tix for McCartney at AT&T Park 7/10 in an advance pre-sale for Amex card holders.  Tix are for Sec 320 (upper deck behind home plate), row 7, seats 1-2.  Price is what I paid, includes all fees = $145.  If interested, lemme know.  More info: http://www.apeconcerts.com/news_details.cfm?aid=159

"The Up and Coming" Tour?  Now, if he'd called it the "Coming Up (NOT Live from Glasgow)" Tour... that might've been clever.

Giants season ticket holders also got a chance for advanced seats and we get access to better seats than AmEx holders. I selected one as a season ticket holder and would be able to buy seats on the field (section 14). I cancelled that and checked seats from AmEx and it was in the stands. Both selected one seat.

I hope Paulie puts up a big-ass Jumbotron above his stage, one large enough to be seen and enjoyed from the street!   :)

Thatt's what the Stones did about 5 years ago and it was pretty fun.  We were home, and heard this loud roar emanating from the ballpark area, which is about 1.5 miles away from were we live.  "Hey, it's the Stones!" I cried. we got in the car and drove down to the Mission Creek area, parked, walked over and heard about an hour worth of Stoney rock.  the TV we could see gave us a pretty decent view of the geezers and it was HELLA loud enough.  In fact, the City forced them to tun it down the next two (?) nights they played.

Is he releasing a new album?  Is this tour best-loved hits or will people be subjected to "Freedom" and "Dance Tonight"?

he's always releasing a new album, isn't he? -- whether as himself or "The Fireman" or whatever. Seems like the man never sleeps. If I had his gazillions I'd be in Tahiti with 12 muscular rent-a-studs.

Macca was at the White House last nite getting the "Gershwin Award" and singing "Michelle" to the First Lady.  But Stevie Wonder was there, and they didn't do "Ebony & Ivory"? WTF?  ;)

aaacccck. The Beibs.  This Cat decided not to spend $$ on this tour. After being up close and personal with Steve and Joe for two shows, I will NEVER get a better seat and want to retain the great show memory.

I DID just spend the moolah for Neil Young at the Fox in July.
