Mark and I are going on Thursday.  We've got seats in section 106, or something like that.  Oh, and BOS3 for EW&F.

My BOS also.  These last 2 songs have definitely picked up the pace...
Now I'm eight bits...

And I like Promises.  A sad song.

AAAACK!  Cut off right in the middle of Eric.

With a Little Luck, we'll get a bustout before this is over. Oh PLEASE GAWD!

A-MEN.

So far this set has been treading the edge of Hits From Hell. Just a little punk rock or something would help immensely.

so this phone call which is dragging on forever is not making me miss too much?

Very average -- much like Crapton's "Promises".

I'm giving serious thought to trying to scalp a ticket outside. Craigslist is lousy with people trying to dump extras, particularly for Thursday, so it might be easy pickin's.

'Cept my concert budget is kinda stretched right now, with Yo La Tengo and P-Spree next week, and Elvis C at the Music Hall the week after. We'll see.
Let's get right to it.

Yup. My budget snapped after Bruce, BSB Sat and Sun, this weekend and Van Halen in Dec. I was reading my last issue of Rolling Stone and there was a small review of VH tour that opened I think in NC. Some guy from Modesto who flew there said it was like an effin dream. Sounds like tour is going to be mostly a sellout. My seats at HP are very decent.

I am about concerted out too.  But Tool is going on sale Sunday, and my metal friends have twisted my arm...

Even the bonus track is a frequent flyer--Bruce again, Candy's Room.

Sobering thought: this Saturday will be 27 years to the day since I first saw Bruce, in the very same building he's playing tomorrow and Friday. Yikes. I be gettin' old.

Forgive the crankypants, but there really should be a rule against bonus tracks being by an artist (and from the same LP!) we just heard in the set.

VHM Alicat Inferno, tho' I've heard this one a few too many times -- the Trammps Greatest Hits is chock full of fab tracks you haven't heard a million times.

TANC --Greg on CGSS is playing their wonderful early single "Where Do We Go From Here", which sounds like it shoulda been covered by the Three Degrees.

1.  Cars - Bye Bye Love
2.  Toto - Hold the Line
3.  Trammps - Disco Inferno
4.  Journey - Anytime (BEST OF SET!!)
5.  Pablo Cruise - Don't Want to Live Without it (BEST OF SET!!)
6.  Wings - With a Little Luck
7.  Hot Chocolate - Everyone's a Winner
8.  Bruce Springsteen - Badlands
9.  EWF - Fantasy
10.  Eric Clapton - Promises

BONUS TRACK:  Bruce Springsteen - Candy's Room

I think I'm with Mike on artist duplication between set and bonus track. I like Bruce and all, but the fact that he's playing a couple shows in town does not justify playing more than one song within the parameters of 10@10 and its ancillary franchises.
Let's get right to it.
