BTW, Aidan Vaiziri sez Mick Ronson is playing in Morrissey's band:

That'd be a nice trick. Mick Ronson died about five years ago (maybe longer).

Y'know, I thought so... Did Ronson play on the orig recording of "Stop Me..."? Maybe that's what he meant.

Was just reading up on Ronson to find out when he died (turns out it was in '93--a good bit longer than five years ago) and found out he produced Morrissey's Your Arsenal album--I had no idea.

And even more of a "what da funk" revelation: Ronson played guitar, sang some backing vocals, and did string arrangements on the Pure Prairie League's Bustin' Out album--who knew? So he could well be heard on Fallin' In and Out of Love/Amie.
Let's get right to it.

aack, crazy morning. missed everything up to this point.

BOS "L D & S"

now I'm departing imminently for LA until next Monday, driving down for a Fri-Sun expo, with two single-day events tomorrow & Thursday.

Bummer that you missed most of the set--it was a real corker, as Mike Sweeney might say.  Hopefully you'll have a good wi-fi connection in your room in LA and be in it by 10pm tonight.

Yep, made it in time for the NY Dolls anyway.

and now Sweet Lou...

Amazing fun fact: only 4 of the 10 songs in this set were Top 40 singles; the rest were LP cuts and/or singles that weren't hits.
You spin me right 'round, baby, right 'round
