I came in to the strains of Led Zep's "Rock & Roll."  Is this song #1?  Or did Bob start early with a 3DN track?

Predictions: Lee Michaels, "Do You Know What I Mean," something from Tapestry, something from There's a Riot Goin' On, and some solo Paul.

BOS1 to "Baby Blue," my favorite Badfinger track.  I wonder how Robbie Williams would sound covering this.  Guitars clearly influenced by George's ATMP.

BOS2 to "Tiny Dancer."  I know many people who have tired of this song through radio overkill.  Thankfully I'm not one of them.  Still amazed that this song missed the Top 40 altogether (one of very few EJ singles to do so until the 2000s).

And this song sounds even better when one has just completed a huge project and is heaving a sigh of exhausted relief and contentment (I'll play it the day I finish my paper).

yes, RnR was song # 1 -- quite the TOTHC.  My 3DN comment was a prediction.  Per the pre-show comments, we're gonna get Long John Baldry.

A more interesting version than Aimee Mann's, I'd wager.

got here just in time for Janis.  Traffic was particularly sucky this morning even though I thought I'd left 15 minutes early.

HM Janis, 'cause it's NOT "Booby McGee" :)

Would like to hear the Mott the Hoople version one morning.

LOL!   I remember her being on the Dick Cavett show (early summer of '70) and it was Janis and Raquel Welch on the same show. The next day a local FM jock descriped the show and then played the Band, "Chest Fever".

Mark, what on earth is that avatar you've got now?  It looks vaguely like a stormtrooper from Star Wars being puffed up like Dig Dug.

I think I agree. I just tuned in mid way thru...I have whole version on disc and intro is tedious after the first listen. Need to fast forward into the tune.
