shut up!!!! (said in a mocking way)

Love this crapton, errr Clapton.

This morn while taking kids to school, heard Kodachrome and they sure picked up on all the "crap" I learned in high school. Loved it.

If it's any consolation, I just went through a gigantic coughing hacking fit that coincided with this.  Big gobs of (okay, TMI!)

Point is, Bob played it on the Drive precisely 26 minutes earlier!

But my favorite REM song makes up for it bigtime!

BOS #2 "Can't Get There From Here".

Wow, obscure Flash & the Pan -- guess this was a comeback of sorts in '85.  BOS2 for rarity.

This Flash & The Pan is not only a bustout, I never heard it before.

BOS #2 "Can't Get There From Here".

most obscure REM lyrics EVAH!?  You decide:

When the world is a monster
Bad to swallow you whole
Kick the clay that holds the teeth in
Throw your trolls out the door

If you're needing inspiration
Philomath is where I go, I go
Lawyer Jeff he knows the low-down
He's mighty bad to visit home

(chorus)
(I've been there I know the way)
Can't get there from here
(I've been there I know the way)
Can't get there from here
(I've been there I know the way)
Can't get there from here
(I've been there I know the way)

When your hands are feeling empty
Stickheads jumping off the ground
Tris is sure to shirr the deers out
Brother Ray can sing my song

(I've been there I know the way)
Can't get there from here
(I've been there I know the way)
Can't get there from here
(I've been there I know the way)
Can't get there from here, here, here
(I've been there I know the way)

Hands down, Calechee bound
Land locked, kiss the ground
The dirt of seven continents going
Round and round
Go on ahead Mr. Citywide
Hypnotized, suit and tied
Gentlemen testify

If your world is a monster
Bad to swallow you whole
Philomath they know the low-down
Throw your trolls out the door

(repeat chorus 2x)

Can't get there from here
(I've been there I know the way)

(Thank you, Ray)
"Music is the Earth, People are the Flowers, and I am the Hose."

indeed, I'm surprised Dave's never played this, considering his F&TP track record. I barely remember hearing it when it was new.

BOS3 Chrissie/UB40. "I Got You, Mon".

Other than the repeat Clapton, Ginger is knocking the ball out of the park in a year that rarely sees such a display of firepower.
