Screwed out of the Jets Cowboys game too. I pick Cowboys.

AVON2000 GB  DAL IND  SEA  NYG  JAX  CAR  TB  CLE  TEN  CHI  KC  ARI  SD  NE  PIT 31

Don't forget, kids -- this "early picks" thing runs for the rest of the season, as NFL Network has either Thurs or Sat games each week.

OHMIGOD! The Raiders beat KC! In KC, no less. Rod's faith in his team pays off! And Geoff got the Cincy upset over Tennessee.
Let's get right to it.

Well, I guess the Raiders AND Niners had to win eventually -- wish they'd done it in a week I'd actually picked 'em!

Well, you can console yourself in the knowledge that none of the rest of us did either--so no one gained any ground thanks to the 9ers victory. And we've all picked NE tonight and PIT tomorrow, so we're all going to win or lose together on those as well..

and we all get the NE point -- but who'd'a thunk the Iggles'd give the Pats a run for their money (and with a backup QB, no less)? Quite the exciting game.

Nice for the "home" teams to win but I always count on 'em to lose so the win is a little bittersweet. I was watching the Raiders in the 4th with 4 minutes to go and hoping they'd blow it. (sorry Rod)

LOL.  No problem, I wasn't exactly rooting for the Niners either.  Both KC and Arizona need kickers.

Well, we all have PIT tonite, but former Steeler Joey Porter just snagged an interception from Big Ben and MIA takes over.  If this is half as interesting as last nite's near-upset...

Gul-damn: I was about 40 points behind in my fantasy league, with Big Ben, Nate Washington, and the Pitt D yet to play.  I thought I was in pretty good shape.  Ah well.  Slipped to 7-4 overall, but am on a two-game losing streak.

MSHRAY63 DAL  SD  TEN  IND  BUF  CAR  MIN  MIA  STL  SEA  TB  CLE  DEN  NYG  PIT  NE  37

I may well change a couple of these later, but I'm not changing today's pick so best to get them in now.

Likewise, reposting my picks. And as Mark said, I may change some of them, but I'm sticking with my choice for tonight:

URTHWERM DAL  KC  TEN  IND  BUF  CAR  MIN  NYJ  ATL  PHI  TB  CLE  DEN  CHI  PIT  NE   42
Let's get right to it.
