Warren strikes up the band, and Ginger celebrates Jerry Week with "Cats under the Stars" -- an across-the-board bustout, methinks.

VHM Ms Smith -- I was trying to find out who plays keyboards here (I thought Roy Bittan, but no) and ran across some message board where folks were arguing about whether Natalie Merchant's version was better than Patti's. Egads!

Super BOS Neil, "4 Strong Winds" -- oh my, what a gorgeous record, and when he did it in that Jonathan Demme docu last year I was nearly moved to tears.

don't mind the maggots!  VHM Stones.

OMFG! BOS2 SSJ & da Jukes' utterly gorgeous "Hearts of Stone".  Oh how I wish these guys were on Dave's radar.

Got in late as I had to go pick up the Friday morning bagels for editorial, but tuned in just in time for Southside Johnny's Hearts of Stone. Man, this takes me back.
Let's get right to it.

Mark will surely want to catch the replay on this -- Ginger at her digging-up-gems best. (Marley's "Kaya" was in there too).

I assume he's down at Gordon Biersch with DM, the rest of the Morning Show gang, and a mess of overcaffeinated fogheads. Didn't hear him on the air during the half hour or so I heard between 8 and 8:30, but I wouldn't be surprised if he talked his way onto the air at some point.

Nope, I kept my trap more or less shut.  Made a new friend at the table I sat at, who it turns out works around the corner from me in Mtn View.  Also reconnected with a couple I'd met at these things previously, if you were listening & heard a guy from the audience playing his instrument for Renee's traffic beds, that was him.  Chatted with Peter a bit but that was all.  And as I mentioned on the KFOG thread, I recognized Darryl, our occasional music log contributor & said hi.
