happened last week on Dave's b-day, but this article about the memorial is fascinating.

He gets an obit in this week's Time, believe it or not.

I was just looking at some of the photos in the SF Gate article, to see if there were any more pictures of Willie, when I came across a picture of some of the flowers, one bouquet having a poker hand worked in, with this caption: "A full house in one of the flower arrangements depicts Jim Mitchell's full life. Chronicle photo by Lance Iversen".

except that the cards are the A-K-Q-J-10 of hearts!
