Whaddaya mean? Davefish pegged it. And I'm not at all embarrassed that I didn't know it--bands like Depeche Mode or Erasure or the Cure did nothing for me then, and only slightly more now.

I'm here, boss.  But it's hard to get excited about 85.  Except that that's the year I graduated from Stanford.  But that was smack in the middle of 80s suckage.

I was in high school then but this is the beginning of when I started to dislike (not hate) current music. Some stuff I like but more and more I didn't like. This set would rate an "eh" for me.

Seriously, this is the first indication I've ever gotten here that folks don't like DM, Cure, Erasure or the Smiths, all of whom always get plenty of BOS votes whenever they appear.  News to me.
