BOS5 Zep.  Supertramp notwithstanding, this has been a superb start to the week.

Just in case you were starting to feel good, Roger Waters comes by to depress you thoroughly.  Pretty deep track though.

And infinitely better than that recycled mish-mash KFOG is currently flogging.

Agreed.

Is this particular Buffett a Morey bust-out? I know Ginger and Bob have played it.

Hard to say--I had a roommate in college who played this album incessantly, so all I know is I've heard it a lot in my lifetime.
Let's get right to it.

I'm most impressed that the "slab o' Floyd" counted as one song!

Superb.

Quite possibly--set of the week, that is. On the other hand, I'm slightly dismayed that Buffett got BOS. I voted for the Ramones, but I figured the Slab of Floyd (which was counted as just one song--yay) would have triumphed. Go figure. Parrothead solidarity, I guess.
Let's get right to it.

Yeah, I think it was 1980 when I was hearing that album's songs on school-bus radios.  I associate that album with "Another One Bites the Dust" for whatever reasons.

PS: Good to hear from you, don't think I've seen you on the board lately!

The Wall is one of those late-in-the-year releases that qualifies in more than one year. It came out in the fall of '79, but had most of its airplay after the start of '80.
Let's get right to it.

Is it acceptable to necropost? Greg posted a recording of this show to his and Renee's Patreon today, and I wanted to dig up the playlist. https://www.patreon.com/posts/kfog-morning-10-57638315

At any rate, extremely late BOS vote for "Girls Talk". And what was that bit from Dave at the end, after Diana Ross - "The Boss":

> Good thing comes to those who wait... disco terrorist.
