RGMike squeals with delight at H&O's "Private Eyes."

BTW, 50 Cents bodyguard was apparently shot a few blocks from my apartment last night.  Fiddy said some rude things at the Hot 97 studio and things got, well, hot.

P.S.  Who was the sax on the Stones track?

It really was, even though it had only been three years since Some Girls, their previous major comeback record. But Emotional Rescue was so lousy they needed a record like Tattoo You to rally the fans. And it did so quite handily: Neighbors, Little T&A, Black Limousine, Slave, and Hang Fire, all rocked my world that year.

BOS to what Dave should have segued into, the most effectively manipulative song of all time, "Arthur's Theme (Best That You Can Do)."  They just don't write 'em like that anymore, indeed.

VHM to Greg Kihn, he really did know how to craft a guitar hook or two back in the day.

But I still can't get over the fact that a couple of July 4ths ago, when KUFX did their Top 500 of All Time Countdown, this song allegedly was voted #7 (!)

true, true. i'll have it stuck in my head for the rest of the day (gladly). though i enjoyed the "they don't write 'em like that anymore" song. i can never remember who that is.
