Even with crankypants on I can recognize the beauty of "Operator."

And "Jump Into the Fire" is always interesting to hear.

JITF is more than interesting, it's genius. BOS2. Used brlliantly by Scorsese in Goodfellas, too.

Well, I've heard "Rocket Man" too many times to BOS it today, but VHM for the memory of how fresh it sounded in '72.

Now here's one Gaz & I can agree on: WOS Grand Funk, "Foot Stompin' Music".  Not their finest hour, and not even good cheeze.

Now THAT's more like it: BOS to "Brandy," a personal all-time favorite both on the radio and on the karaoke stage.

I can see myself enjoying that guiltily.

And now enjoying guilt-free: Procol Harum and the ESO, "Conquistador"!

And BOS2 for my favorite opening riff ever.  But I thought there were laws against playing this and "Brandy" in the same set since everyone thinks they're by the same band?

It had never occurred to me, but I do see the similarity in the lead singers voices now that ya mention it.
