I didn't catch the reason -- presumably they're playing in NYC tonite? If so, I guess the paucity of Gabriel-era makes sense.

No, I think they're just putting tickets on sale now. The tour isn't until fall. But yeah, that's a whole lot of 80s-vintage Genesis--I count only two or three (depending on which version of Carpet Crawlers that was) from the 70s, and only one Gabriel tune (again, contingent on the version of CC).
