KBCO A-Z update:

As of 9:20 am Wednesday, they're still in the S's. Just heard Karla Bonoff's version of Someone To Lay Down Beside Me, and now it's the Beatles (yay), Something.
Let's get right to it.

Hrm.  Do they go 24/7 with this or (like KFOG) is it a 6a - 10p thang?

I see they played that other New Radicals song, "Someday We'll Know", which barely registered on KFOG when it was out.

'CDX pulls out Grand Funk Railroad's "Walk Like A Man" (NOT the 4 Seasons song), one of their better macho-posturing anthems. "I'm gonna strut like a cock until I'm 99!"

Been wondering that myself. I can't seem to tell from anything on their web site--it lists only the last 10 songs. And at the moment, it seems to be stuck on Karla Bonoff--no mention of the Beatles, Bonnie Raitt, U2, or Robbie Robertson, or anything else since about 9:25.

I'm tempted to e-mail Ginger and ask when they expect to wrap this up--anyone got her e-mail? If so, ping me offline--don't want to put her at risk of getting harvested by a 'bot.
Let's get right to it.

it's on the website: click on "staff" and you'll get to it eventually (it's a message box that opens up with a menu to select who yer e-mailing).

I see 'BCO is up to the "That" songs... guess this will go at least another 24 hours?  Makes sense for them to measure it out that way, with 10@10 coming back on Monday.

Just tuned in to 'CDX in time to hear Linda Ronstadt's "How Do I Make You?" which I haven't heard on the radio since it was a hit.

Mmmm... Fresh garbage!

Followed by 3DN's Best. Single. EVER. (IMHO), "Black & White".

and Mr Joel with his Uptown Girl  -- does Ms Brinkley cringe when she hears this now?

"uptown girl
She's been living in her white bread world
As long as anyone with hot blood can
And now she's looking for a downtown man"

I swear I never realized he was saying "...hot blood can" until today. I thought it was "hop a train" or something.

Ha!  I heard "as long as anyone would pop a chance," which makes no sense, but there you have it.

PS: Is a "downtown man" a guy who'll perform ling-ling?  Or just a bad-news cat?

They finally got thru the T's (and U's, which probably didn't take too long); as of 5:20 they're on to V--the Neville Brothers' Voodoo, to be specific. So they will indeed probably finish sometime tomorrow.
Let's get right to it.

Wow, CGSS plays the Temptations version of the Gladys Knight hit "Friendship Train" -- new to me, I wonder which actually came first.
