no idea who did that "Can't take It With You" song, but is sounded like typical early-'80s AOR schlock to me. And now it's "Sausalito Summer Eurotrash". WOS2. Yeesh.

I think the former was Alan Parsons Project, after they ran out of ideas and started recycling the old ones.
Let's get right to it.

and now Journey, "Don't Stop Steve Perry's Bleating".

this is the schlockiest set Dave's come up with in ages. Compare to Ginger's superb 1981 set yesterday:

NEWS CLIP FROM: 1981 Interview w/ Bono
U2/Gloria
The Rolling Stones/Worried About You
Tom Tom Club/Genius of Love
The Blasters/American Music
SONG MEDLEY FROM 1981
Tom Petty/Letting You Go
King Crimson/Matte Kudassai
The Police/One World (Not Three)
MOVIE CLIP FROM: Stripes
Dixie Dregs/Cruise Control

Heard some of this in the car, damn sorry I missed Ginger's set yesterday.  I wish Dave would play "Genius of Love" as often as he plays the Ziggy Marley tune that samples it.
"Music is the Earth, People are the Flowers, and I am the Hose."
