Second week in a row Dave kicks off with what we'd expect to be the  Friday set.

Gonna listen to the next half hour in the car, but then it's a doctor appointment.  Have fun y'all!

Actually "Motown Monday" is a longstanding 10@10 tradition, tho' it doesn't happen that much anymore.

Pre-emptive 10-way tie.

that Marvin -- he so stubborn.

One of the funnier moments in Dreamgirls has Eddie Murphy wearing a Marvin Gaye knitted skullcap, singing a socially conscious ballad that's meant to be his "What's Goin' On" (and which the Berry Gordy character, played by Jamie Foxx, refuses to release).

indeed. except for this Tammy Terrell "I can't Believe You Love Me". VVHM for a voice that was stilled at a much too early age.

another special mention: "What Becomes of the Brokenhearted", def a '60s-Motown high point, which is saying something.

Too bad Tammi found out what happens when a Ruffin gets tough, though.
