I'm kinda relieved I'm not the only one who finds today's set dire.

There were a couple of good moments--the first two songs, for example. But for good or bad, it is representative of 1987. I remember hearing most of this stuff quite a bit on the album rock station up in Sacburg.

And here's DDIO, to round out the set. (Speaking of which, Neil & Tim Finn did both this and Message to My Girl at the show I saw last week--not sure if I posted anything about it.)

Tonight: Polyphonic Spree. Gaz, I will try to keep track of what/how they play. If I can stay awake after the three opening bands. Fucking Noise Pop.

it wouldn't seem quite so bad if we hadn't had '89, '85 AND '87 in one week, even if '85 was better than average. Tomorrow better be good.
