these wacky Brits -- they just LOVES them some Alexander O'Neal! "If You Were Here Tonight", which reminds me of RFTW's "Love Me Down" crossed with some Freddy Jackson song I can't pin down.

EW did a bit this week where they invited Aimee Mann, Michael Penn, David Cross and Desmond Child to watch the Grammys and make running commentary.  EVERYBODY had snarky things to say about Maroon 5, so clearly it's not "hip" to like them; but what I've heard of them so far has been pleasant, slick pop.
