Always nice to hear the Vapors, can someone refresh my memory on what a Cyclone Ranger is?

I don't think anyone knows what it means -- Googling tuns up nothing in the way of explanation.

I think it's just a play on the "lone ranger" phrase. Once again, to quote Mr. Natural: Don't mean sheeeit.
Let's get right to it.

Apparently, there was a western by that name in 1935.

TMBG is a great example of a turkey:  tasty but dumb!

OMFG2! Monkees, "I'm Gonna Buy Me a Dog" -- haven't heard this in decades!! BOS3. Note the backing track is ripped off from "She's About a Mover".

This has been the best Turkey Set in years -- I have theater tix tonite and will probably miss the replay.

Oy, the Monkees.  At least it's in stereo.

I get no cow.  But I get up again.

Yes I agree, definitely very listenable.  I still like this song a lot.

So far we have had 4 songs that weren't in any of the previous 4 sets, so I guess I can forgive Dave for the "Tubthumping".  The only reason I voted against it was it's predictability, which Dave has more than compensated for.  I actually like the entire Chumbawumba album.

I don't think that's what Mike meant by "Bollocks".

Congrats, Mike, ya finally got your wish!!! Your very own turkey, Tarzan Boy!

Have to admit I've never heard this before.  Why is it so beloved?  Sounds like a Howard Jones second.

it was a big hit -- an MTV fave -- and it was turned into a Listerine commercial in the mid-'90s.

Freakin work. Missed it. Glad you got your wish.

It is quite brilliant, esp if you know anything about Brit culture and the kind of goofy songs (Soccer anthems and show tunes) that regularly hit #1 over there.

I'm still hoping for Hocus Pocus, the long version.
Though I'm probably dreaming at this point in the set.

And we appear to be skipping Mah-na Mah-na and the Trio tune, so I think I'm good with that tradeoff.
Let's get right to it.
