Trivial point that may only interest me:  precisely 2 years ago Dave also played a 1968 set & S&G "America" was Tune #3 then, too.

Actually, if this is only our fifth visit to 68 this year, our average is off from the past two years: in 04 we visited 68 7 times, and in 05 it was 9. With any luck we might get one more before Dec 31.

Although I guess the 60s sets in general have been more scarce this year.

Blue Cheer was indeedd a month or 2 ahead of DP.  But I'm sure there's something hard before that, I'll have to ponder the question. I take it psychedelia is in a diff category?

That's what I was gonna say!  But it's not that left field, the only Beatles song from '68 played more often is "Revolution".

Yeah, I think of "Somebody to Love" in a different category, though maybe I should rethink that.
