I don't know this Heart song, but the opening reminded me quite a bit of "Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress."

dead on.  or straight on, perhaps.

That was a good one.  Good funky bass.  I'm into funky bass today.

Les Freres Gibb funky enough for ya?

Calling Alicat to the dance floor!

Pretty fly for a bunch of white guys.  Though I have to admit when I first heard "Jive Talking", I thought they were three black women.

BOS: the KISS Dolls!

that is friggin' hilarious!  12-1/2 inches, eh?  Hell, Simmons' tongue is longer than that.

My brother and I had a couple of the KISS dolls in '78.  We foolishly threw them out in '80 or so.  Fast Fwd to '99, I'm shopping for them on eBay as a surprise present for my brother.  Almost spent $200 (!) on a Paul Stanley doll, then thought better of it, and never visited eBay again.

you must've been VERY young in 1975.

Y'all need to hear Chaka's cover of "Jive Talkin". Or Candi Staton's "Nights on B'way".

Don Pardo didn't say it was the looooong version, but does Dave ever play the short version of "Love Is Like Oxygen"?

Well, I wasn't the oldest fellow (11).  But listen to it again (if you can).  It's not hard to imagine.  Outside of Lou Christie and Franki Valli, men just weren't singing like that in 75.
