Two 80s sets in a row--if only today's turns out as well as yesterday's did.
Let's get right to it.

Road to Hell, followed by Fascination Street. Not an auspicious start.
Let's get right to it.

Eternal BOS to "Fisherman's Blues."  This one's for you, Brandon.

well, I just had a 20-minute meeting and I don't feel like I've missed anything earth-shattering.  This Petty seems like a lesser-heard one tho'.

me neither, but it was probably the highlight of the set.  Loves me some Waterboys & Love & Rockets, but these are awfully predictable, if not out right Katrinas.

This was music from the worst period in KFrOG's history.  Is this Whitesnake?  Man, I can't believe they were playing that crap.  I won My Three Songs way back then and had to go into the station to pick up my booty.  I wrote a letter asking how they could be playing Whitesnake and left it with them.  The format did change eventually.  I think.

figures. even tho' the song was new to me, the group is still a Morey mainstay.

VHM Indigo Girls -- anything not "Closer to Fine" is, er, fine.

wow, they were really playing that stuff then?  That must've been Burkhart/Abrams' doing.  they consulted KFOG for their first 7 or so years.

Warrant, not Whitesnake, but what's the diff?

Whitesnake would be a welcome improvement over Warrant (imho), still dreck, but not uber-dreck.

I feel a bit kinder to Whitesnake after seing Mr. Coverdale in the Mexico City airport last September and having a beer with his bass player.
