Guess so.  I'm gonna be listening to the Kink stream, though.

KFOG = 1988
KINK = 1968

Do the math.

So it would seem.  I don't like "Tall Cool One", but it seems like a pretty good Robert Palmer impression.

But we gotta wait for a 1988 set to hear Cheap Trick? WTF? (Don't Be Cruel, if anyone is wondering. At least it wasn't The Flame.)

And that's followed by Michelle Shocked. Can't recall the name at the moment. Not one of the usual suspects though.
Let's get right to it.

Did I not predict a late-'80s set?  Between this and my Football Pool results, I'm def playing Lotto this week :wink:

Nice start with Percy; WOS Cheap Trick. I'm gonna join mshray in Portland.

I'm there.  And besides, the 64K stream sounds soooo much better than the crappy 34K stream from KFrOG.

Life's good, still in Corvallis. Been quite busy with work.
Planning a remodel for our house.
 Sometimes I go through phases - Until last week, I hadn't turned on iTunes nor KFOG stream in months..
Been here 5 years, and this is the first I've heard of the KINK Stream. Generally listen to OPB (Oregon Public Broadcasting) in the car.

Googled it to find  http://www.kink.fm/
there's a streaming link.
You have to register to listen.  Have to agree 1968 is better than 88

You call that a remodel???  Looks more like a completely new house!  Pretty cool though.  Best of luck with that.

Hanging in here cuz I'm too busy to switch, and I'm hearing a U2 song (assuming it's from Joshua Tree) called Need Your Love. Don't think I've ever heard this on 10@10 or elsewhere. How old is this classic?

'88 would mean Rattle & Hum, no?

'68 was over too fast... I'm back in time for Hothouse Flowers, "Don't Go".

The tune is from Rattle & Hum.  The set is from somewhere before April '04 because this song isn't in the shraytabase.  In fact I don't have a single 1988 entry for U2.

This sounds like Martin whats-his-name from the Church, but I don't recognize the tune.
