Here's what I posted in my (now deleted) thread for today:

Dave's gut tells him it's gonna be a good one. I'm reserving judgement...

I've heard that one before.

I feel my snarkiness starting to rise...  think I'll  go take a shower, maybe this set will sound better in the bathroom.

Love Plus One. Hopefully this will take care of the sax-inflected pseudo tropical tunes for the day and we can escape without having to endure Men At Work.

Hey, a guy can hope....

There's always Theme Thursday on the Kink.  First song is "Sunny Came Home", which is an Alison, so maybe that's the theme.

So I always thought Asia was pretty phoney, even though it sort of combined 2 of my favorite 70's bands, Yes and ELP.

But, man I still like to listen to almost *any* song that Greg Lake sings ... what a great voice (IMHO).

You know why I know you're gay?  Because you have an *Asia* poster on your wall.

Yep, me too. Except the singer in Asia was John Wetton (ex-King Crimson, UK), not Greg Lake.

Let it Whip--now this is a bustout methinks. Dazz Band, no?

ETA:  Found out last weekend that my favorite Schroeder cousin came out to my dad while my folks were visiting him.  Which makes two now, the other one came out to me last summer.  I don't think either of them has any Asia posters.  But *I* used to.

Wrong year for Waiting on a Friend--pretty sure it was 81.
