Aurora Borealises

or is that "boreali"? Anyway, Rosalie played a song by Box Set this morning called (I think) "Thinking of John Hartford."  She said it was the only song she knew of that mentioned the Aurora Boralis. Didn't we have that very discussion a while back?  And didn't we come up with several?

Two songs that mention Aurora Borealis:

A Flock of Seagulls, "I Ran (So Far Away)"

The Electric Mayhem, "Can You Picture That" (from The Muppet Movie)
“The choir of children sing their song.  They've practiced all year long.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.”

But Neil Young's Four Strong Winds (or is it Pocahontas?) mentions Aurora Borealis. Rosalie oughta be ashamed of herself for forgetting that one.

Just checked the old board--it was Pocahontas. And we discussed it on June 22 of last year. And I got Four Strong Winds confused with Pocahontas then too. Hard to teach an old geek new facts....

Props to Gaz for even remembering that.
Let's get right to it.
