Okay, now my mind is made up,  BOS George Baker Selection!!

He does a pretty respectable Jackie Wilson impression.

(For a white guy.)

I never thought of that, but you're right!

There's definitely a particular song I'm thinking of, but it's hard to think of it while listening to Feist.

Me no listening to KFrOG anymore.  It's RP or KPIG from here on out, with an occasional detour to KCDX.

1970 My 3 songs is Annalisa's quiz: Zep, Partridges, and Traffic.

I HOPE the winner chooses "I Think I Love You" but I'll settle for Zep.

My thoughts exactly & we get the Zep as expected.  One of my top 5 Zep tunes, so I'm loving it.

Mine too, I've always been a champion of Zep III.  Percy did a nice job on this at the Paramount last year.

BOS3 Christie, "Yellow River". Not a urinary reference.

It's about China?

Yeah, my BOS vote would have gone up the Yangtze.

Or the Yahtzee.  Or wherever the Yellow River refers to.  I always associate this with Vanity Fare ("Hitchin' a Ride," "Early in the Morning").

Okay, quick geographty lesson: The Yellow River is the 2nd longest river in China, after the Yangtze, and both are in the top 10 in the world.

In Mandarin the Yangtze is called the Chang Jiang, which literally translates as 'long river'.

Agreed. But some at the time tried to call Christie "the Brit answer to CCR" and I don't hear that all.  Now The Hollies "Long Cool Woman" -- there's a Brit CCR imitation (with some T.Rex thrown in for good measure).
