Bonus track was "I Wanna Be Sedated", but ohmygod, it could have been "Ca Plane Pour Moi".

OMG, hope Gaz is tuned in someplace, or can be in 12 hours--here's the rarely played (at least on 10@10) Love Too Good--probably Grace's biggest contribution to the Earth album.

TANC: I was just listening to the Earth album in its near-entirety yesterday.  Love that one but I was moreso in the mood for her malcontent anthem "Show Yourself."  "Are you RCA? Are you Standard Oil? Are you AT&T? I wanna see!"

Hope you've all been well.  I've been flush with work but also sufficiently annoyed with humanity that I decided to bail on most of it for the past week-plus.  Now just biding time until November elections and January job prospects give me an idea of whether 2007 might be a better year than this one.

I somehow missed this segue this morning: from Harvey Milk, "every gay person must come out" to... "On Broadway"?  Dave, the gay people on Broadway are already out...

Love Too Good
Good vocals, good tune, what the heck was she dealing with or working through when she did this?

BOS Home and Dry.

Was Powers on about 6 tonight? I was driving home and the KFOG DJ sounded like such a dick. Trying to appeal to a much younger audience I think. Goofing on Home and Dry and just rambling is a stupid annoying way. I had to tune away.

At that hour, more likely it was Big Rick. I heard him on the air a bit later, so I'm pretty sure that's who it was.
Let's get right to it.

Booze.
I made a cassette for dancing in between our old band's sets, I nicknamed Disco Dummy, and this track was the leadoff.  Audience reaction was more positive to the tape than our first set, although it also tended to warm them up for our next set!
