I stayed here the rest of the hour, but Crash Test Dummies has definitely been the only highlight.  Right now the sun is coming up on Santa Monica Boulevard for Sheryl Crow.

I was in no mood for '90s multitasking, but you haven't missed much in SF, unless Madonna's "Erotica" floats yer boat.

Don't know what the last two songs have been, but they're mildly interesting, and by virtue of being unkown they both rate a VHM in my lower standards fro 90's sets.

I haven't yet gotten tired of the "Sleeping Satelites", but the way this is a staple of this year on all the 10@10 stations makes me wonder if they somehow think it won the Grammy for Song of the Year that year or something.  I never heard this in '93 at all.

it was quite the KFOG playlist staple, as I recall. Live 105 too, I think.

I should have reminded you, when I posted that, that I was in Taiwan that year.

Nice wrap up with Hot House Flowers "Thing of Beauty".

Wow, haven't heard that Henley cover of "Sit Down..." in ages -- from a movie sndtk, iirc. Got quite a bit of KFOG play at the time; one of those songs that's fallen thru the cracks.

It was from Leap of Faith, another of the several movies where Steve Martin deserved Oscar consideration that he didn't get.

funny, i was going to mention the tasmin archer song received as much airplay as that "wakka, wakka, wakka" song, but i couldn't remember the name (deep forest). "omaha" was a nice pick, too. and freddy jones, too!
