Was just about to say I was digging the bari sax part on that tune--and then we get PTFM,WB, which also has a prominent bari part. It's a baritone-sax twin spin! (Well, sorta....)

Yeah, I actually noticed the bari part on PTFM today.  Funny how you listen for particular things, especially when you've heard the song a billion times.

I don't lock it into a timeframe; it seems to me the entire history of Puerto Rican immigrants to NYC, who are sold a bill of goods about the opportunities in the city then wind up in overcrowded and dingy apartments while institutional racism and classism prevent their ever realizing the American Dream.  Took me years to realize that "St. John" = "San Juan."
