I really liked this album in college.  Less so now, but Squonk is one of the best from "Trick of the Tail".  I can't really listen to "A Trick of the Tail", the song, anymore without grimacing.

Had a 60-second chat with Dave on the merits (or utter lack thereof) of the Rod Stewart lyric.  Sez I, "so if she's a virgin, and her inhibitions are running wild, I don't think he's gettin' any.  Do you?"  He agreed that this was probably so.

Have you ever seen a "Squonk"'s jeers?  Well . . . I have.

Anyone know of any other songs where the handclaps Do Not Quit for pretty much the entire duration of the song?

Was just about to say I was digging the bari sax part on that tune--and then we get PTFM,WB, which also has a prominent bari part. It's a baritone-sax twin spin! (Well, sorta....)
Let's get right to it.

Maybe I'm the only one who thinls "Play That Funky Music" is a gimmicky and inferior "Thank U," but . . .  WOS.
