I gotta give that a BOS vote, but this has been a great set so far.

BOS n+1, the Beatles.

And I need to backfill a BOS vote for "As Tears Go By",

Ooh, best of the whole thing, "Five O'clock World" - Vogues.

Pure Pop Heaven.

ETA:  This might get my vote for the best "yeah yeah" refrain ever.

Well, Bob sez they're from Pittsburg. Oops.  I assumed Cleveland 'cause of the Drew Carey thing.

I was about to say, Cleveland did a great job of stealing the Vogues right out from under Pittsburgh's rug.  (The 'Burgh returned the favor with Tommy James, I suppose.)

I bought a two-tape set while living in Boston in 1995.  Will always remember that period.

But it's funny.  Until I bought that, my only access to "Just Like Me" was on a cassette mix where I'd luckily taped it several years before.  It was on 3WS as the time passed the hour, so the station broadcast a short beep.  Happened during the solo.  And still, all these years later, I hear that beep in my head when they get to that point in the song.  I get locked into hearing things a certain way.  (I also hear in my head "Just Like Me" segueing into "Sweet Caroline" at the end.)

PS: Think the new "Best in Show" feature will catch on?
