one more example... I started checking days at random, and for some reason the other day they did a "love stinks"-style theme set; dunno what prompted that, but here it is:

Tom Petty : You Got Lucky CD: Long After Dark
The Beatles : For No One CD: Revolver
Paul Simon : 50 Ways To Leave Your Lover CD: Still Crazy...
Carole King : It's Too Late CD: Tapestry
J. Geils Band : Love Stinks CD: Love Stinks
Righteous Brothers : You've Lost That Lovin Feeling CD: You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'
Fleetwood Mac : Go Your Own Way CD: Rumours
Big Brother & The Holding Company : Piece Of My Heart CD: Cheap Thrills
Alanis Morissette : You Oughta Know CD: Jagged Little Pill
Gloria Gaynor : I Will Survive CD
You spin me right 'round, baby, right 'round

OK I think I figured it out:

Tuesdays are "Top Ten Tuesday", ten songs with a common word or words in the title.

But they also seem to do Theme Set Thursday as well. Here's a recent Thurs set of Questioning Songs:

Men At Work : Who Can It Be Now?
Howard Jones : What Is Love?
Where Have All The Cowboys Gone?
Three Degrees : When Will I See You Again?
The Cure : Why Can't I Be You?
Ace : How Long?
The Contours : Do You Love Me?
Bob Marley : Is This Love?
Abba : Does Your Mother Know?
Fats Domino : Ain't That a Shame?

(kudos on the ABBA)

Doing years only 3 times a week theoretically means less repetition, and they seem to do more recent years, late '90s, even early '00s.
