Did we determine last time we heard this that "The Streak" is the only #1 hit in history with canned laughter?

I could never figure out if there was a real audience there or not -- I have a GH of his at home, I'll see if the liner notes provide any info.

Carole King called an album Wraparound Joy?  Neil Sedacky should have done an answer record called Reacharound Joy.

Neil's version would be Wraparound Boys.

Wouldn't you love to hear Mavis Staples cover this?

VHM to "Black Water."  No idea who's covering "Watchtower" here, but it sounds good.

Yay, BOS Dave Mason's version of "Watchtower".  Need to hear this once in a while.

Dave Mason's completely unnecessary cover of "All Along the Watchtower". Maybe he's a Jehovah's Witness.

Was "Searchin' So Long" the beginning of the end for Chicago - the point where they ditched politics in favor of being Peter Cetera's backup band?  HM, even though it's way heavy on the maudlin Saddy McSadSad tip.

BOS2 Chicago, at their mid-'70s peak.

At the movies the other day, in the "pre-show", they played something from Chicago XXX (that's "thirty", not porn). A collab between Chicago and Rascal Flatts. Yuck.

Well, no -- "Harry Truman" was yet to come. They really did try to balance ballads and the upbeat. I think "If You Leave Me Now", their first #1, was the one that tipped the scales.

RE: Ford's pardon -- why was it retro to August '69?

into "Same Old Song & Dance" -- a segue worthy of Dave!
