Just in time for the song I missed from Dave's set.

But my first BOS goes to Willie the Wimp.

Holy shit, before Talking Heads Ginger played Clannad!  I have this album but except for the one song that's a duet with Bono I don't think any of our 10@10 friends have ever played any other track.

If You Leave - O.M.D.
Willie the Wimp - Stevie Ray Vaughan
Wild Wild Life - Talking Heads
In a Lifetime - Clannad
Change in the Weather - John Fogerty

You're a sharp one.  You're future must also be bright.

ETA:  one of these days one of our deejay friends really has to dig down to the track "Hairstyles & Attitudes"

The done lots of research, it may be just hype,
But their latest results cause me to tremble.
They categorize us into 3 basic types
Based on which of the Three Stooges we most closely resemble.

Anyone else think of Head of the Class when they hear this?

Left-field BOS to the Pretenders, "Hymn to Her."  Another song that was in my head throughout my recent SF trip: "Something is lost, something is found ... Some things change, some stay the same."

this also evoked Brandon for me & a subsequent memorial service I have been to.  At the one last Saturday I got to reconnect with a high school classmate I'd last seen in 1990 (at our 10th reunion) and her older sister who lived in my college dorm for a year (hadn't seen her since she graduated in '81). the memorial was for their dad who had been a professor of my dad & colleague & next door neighbor of my uncle.  I also caught up with a whole family from my church back in St. Louis who we'd been close to & whose parents best friends with the decedent.  So we lost a well-loved man who influenced many, but I regained friendships with 5 people from my teens.

Wow, as much as KFOG loves Van the Man, I don't recall hearing "Ivory Tower" ever before on the radio.

"it takes a lot more than fancy flying..."

It takes a sincere belief in the teachings of L. Ron Hubbard!

Whatever happened to Kelly McGillis?
