Dude, I hope you're feeling better.

Dumb question about "Fins": I would have assumed it's set in Florida, since 98% of Buffett's life is set there, but would it have taken 3 days to get there from Cincy by train?  Or did she go to San Diego instead?

"Fins" to the left, Gaz's WOS to the right...

I always called this one "Sharkburger in paradise".

and I still don't know what a "remora" is...

I don't recognize this "Yesterday was a good day" song, but I was *convinced* from the opening that it was an errant playing of Counting Crows' "Mrs. Potter's Lullaby."

A remora is a sucker fish, they follow sharks around and latch onto them, removing parasites.  As I recall.

Who's singing "No Time to Lose" here?  I'm not up on my classic rock.  But I wish the art of male harmony vocals hadn't died such an utter death.  The only rock band that bothers at all with group harmonies any more is Fall Out Boy.  They do it surprisingly well -- or, at the very least, their producers do -- but I wish they weren't the only ones.

I'll refrain from any "what Kenny Chesney likes to suck" jokes.

Shucks, and that's what I was setting you up for, Lautrec.

VHM Santana. Which obscure '60s R&B act did they steal this one from?

Eww.  WOS to yet another song I don't recognize (am I in some classic-rock parallel universe), "All I Ever Wanted"?  The guitar riff sounds way too much like the "Fins" we just heard.  I'd guess 38 Special if I were a bettin' man.

Wow, if Bob were playing Jeopardy and the category was "Songs That Do Nothing For Gaz," he'd've run the table.

Usually Carlos can whip out a tasty guitar solo to mitigate the otherwise mundane.  Not so much in "All I Ever Wanted."

HM, ZZ Top.  Not a big fan but this one is okay...
