Tuned in a bit late, but got to hear a Dead song followed by Bruce's "For You," which Manfred Mann's cover couldn't hold a candle to.  Now that I'm finally hearing more really early Bruce, I would have loved to have known him during this period, with all that tightly wound energy informing his life and music.  I wish I saw something similar in one of today's indie artists, but I don't.
