I'm hoping for Brian Auger & Julie Driscoll's version of "This Wheel's On Fire."

Instead, we get a moody see-saw.

nice seg from "Seesaw" to "Magic Carpet Ride", even tho' the Steppenwolf is almost as overplayed as "Born to be Wild".

BOS Monty Hall.

BOS2 Tommy James.  I still don't know what "Crimson and Clover" is supposed to symbolize.

This is the looooong "psychedelic" version too -- quite a trippy set so far!

VHM Mr Armstrong -- this wouldn't hit the Top 40 until 1988, thanks to Good Morning, Vietnam.

Among the phrases I've long despised: "Greek shipping magnate."

Another BOS, John Fred and his Playboy band -- one of the most glorious OHW's in all of pop.

"Cross your heart
With your living bra"

Little Steven played this Sunday nite -- and pointed out that "only in the '60s" could something this wacko be a #1 hit.
