Isn't that why it's the official drink of Regular Guys?  Or did I misread the memo?

I tried it as a kid (back when it had that wacky "10 2 and 4" slogan, and Dick Clark did commercials for it). HATED it, and haven't had it since.

But how does Mr Pibb compare to Dr P?

[insert "they call me... MISTER Pibb!" joke here]

BOS to deep-album-track Boz.  Who taught him how to talk like that?  (He's the subject of one of the EMP presentations next month, with that as the title.)

that's brilliant!

what steve miller did i miss? i was sitting right here in front of the computer, listening. could i have totally blocked out hearing a song?

"Jack and Diane."  Or is it "Take The Money and Run?"

BTW, watched Woody's "Take the Money and Run" the other night on free onDemand.  Classic stuff.

I love that movie. Woody trying to play cello in the marching band is just perfect.

:) that's weird. i didn't hear the song at all. it's official: in my mind, "TTMAR," as the Guardian from "Star Trek" would say, "has passed into what was."

And more importantly, which Boz and Doobs did I miss? C'mon people, just a word or two from the title is all I ask!

And POC, to answer your question, B&S were pretty good, given the cavernosity of the venue (the SF Design Center, home to many a trade and craft show). No silly covers by either band, but power- and twee-pop at its finest. A pretty fun night out with the college (and pre-college) crowd.
Let's get right to it.
