BOS Stevie!

btw, did any of y'all catch him on Idol last week?

I refuse to watch Idol. It's what's wrong with America. Well, that and Bush. And Oprah. And...

excuse me - are you my soul mate?

Oh my yes. Except for that sex thing.

that's ok - i hear it's overrated. :)

Judy Judy Judy! (yes, I know -- Cary Grant never actually said that.)  Does this make me Punch?

OK, officially a 10-way tie unless Dave plays something horrendous in the next 10 minutes.  Gonna be a short set today, no?

People would HATE this "Good Company" song if it'd been Macca instead of Queen singing it.

Hey POC, LOVE the new avatar. :D

Agreed.  I'm hoping for Judy Carne next.  Which I guess would make Amelia the Princess Con Carne.

BOS: well that's easy.

hey, mshray! thanks for your message yesterday. i was taking my pre-work nap when you called, and didn't receive the message until i finished work, around two this a.m. how was the reading?

The reading was pretty good, but the best part was catching up with someone from my childhood.  I stayed out way too late with her at the lounge in the Hotel Monaco (& I have called in sick today because of the hangover).

that's where i will be on friday for the whiskies of the world conference! i'll try not to follow your example. ;)

WOS 2, Steve Miller.

I really love this album, but this song just doesn't do much for me.  Wish Dave would go with Mercury Blues one of these days.

Speaking of Steely Dan, was surprised to hear, amid all the indie rock being played between bands at the Belle and Sebastian/New Pornos show last night, SD's Only A Fool Would Say That. Nice to get a shoutout to all us fogies in the crowd.

how was b&s?
